Yep today the site reached its 3000th downloads, less than a year ago (see last new item on this page) the site was celeberating its 100th.

Timestamp table went missing from the database again so I've had to reset the max speed stats again. I've also upgraded the table so hopefully its a bit more recoverable next time.

I've turned compresion back on my webserver. This should hopefully improve speed and increase the number of pages my webserver can server (bandwidth is currently the most likely cause of a bottleneck).

It may also cause some problems. If you have any please leave a comment stating what error you get, what software (inc version) you use.

Torrent 1 might not have been downloading for some users as the database that runs the trackers had lost all its details.

It had also lost part of the stats gubbins so I've reset most of that now.

In case anyone was wonder yet another power cut (probably the third since I started running the tracker) was the reason why the tracker was down. I'll get a UPS one day (once I got a laser printer and probably a few other things) unless anyone can come up with a good deal on one.

Help support the tracker (and keep it running) by donating some money. Yes I know the site features some ads (but payable ones seem thin on the ground at the moment), plus I'm also have to put in quite a bit of time at the moment to shift it to my new server. I'll might also throw in a new feature or too if you want one.

I should be back seeding anytime soon. Its going to take me a while to get evertyhing re-seeded as I have to copy all the files over, and set them going again in linux. Thanks to all the seeders over the past couple of weeks and it was nice to see the tracker hitting over 100kb/s again. I'll do my best to help all you leechers and add my 15kb/s back.

As for the tracker, well I'm not sure when its going to get on the new server. I'm going to try and test export over the next couple of days and if that goes to plan I should be able to move it all the the new server in about 30min (for which the tracker will be down). Hopefully all active torrents should carry on download it will just mean you won't be able to find new seedrs or start new torrents going. After that there may be the odd 5 mins while the server is restarting when its off also. However it should be a lot faster now. I'll keep you posted as things develop.

I've accidentally buggered up things a little trying to turn my old computer into a server, and hence I won't be seeding for a while (least untill tuesday - probably later). Please stick with it as I'll be back soon. Hopefully.

There a google ad which shows up for Suprnova.com. Please note the the address for Supurnova is http://www.suprnova.org/ the .com version is a scam. Don't pay any money to this site - suprnova is free. I've tried to remove the add but it hasn't worked yet (hopefully should have gone soon).

Yep chris has decided to pack up and let someone else take control. See hsi site for more details.

I plan to keep the tracker open while ever there is demand for it (and probably longer caus its more work to close if than keep it open). If anyone has anything new they'd like to add to the site just drop us an emither.

Apologises for the poor reliability but my server has been overheating nightly during a number of its cleanup processes. I've therefore had to fit a fan. My first attempt was ok, but it made a racket so I took the server down for a while and came up with this solution.

A power spike knocked out both the computer running this torrent service. While the tracker came straight back u, the router had also reset and hence my ip had changed. Might look for a dynamic dns client thing for linux so at least it auto updates its self the next time this happens.

Hurray we have the first torrent to reach 100 completed downloads - and no supprise that its the last show thats managed it.

Also appolgise for the blip earlier on. Manage to find a possible cause for the bug. Good news is it doesn't appear to be CPU overheating
